Wide open spaces and being close to the Lord’s creation best describes home for Paul and Amber's family. They have four children, all who came to them through the gift of adoption.
Paul started hearing about Samaritan through some people at church. He knew that he needed to do something to take care of the family when it came to health care, recognizing that a life-altering moment could be seconds away.
Paul and Amber’s youngest son, Asher, was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. Amber will never forget crying in the lobby of the hospital, talking on the phone to a Samaritan Ministries’ advocate who ended the call saying let’s just pray about this, which she says was a very special moment.
